|June 3rd - Shabby Tea Room Photo Inspiration|
|My Interpretation - Using the color scheme (white/cream, pink/blue) and we were required to have flowers and a fabric embellishment (heart and dot)|
Yesterday morning, as I was lounging in my jammies with a cup a joe, I was surfing through blog-land and I was stopped in my tracks when I saw Lin's blog. Oh my... Not only did she make a gorgeous card, the challenge was calling me..calling me...calling...
So I made a card! I was inspired by that beautiful photo up above over at the Shabby Tea Room.
This card is for their 116 challenge, 'Color Me Pretty'.
The challenge requirements are to make something new, use the color scheme and add flowers and something with fabric.
Confession: I tore my scrap-room upside down trying to find some real cool felt embellishments I just saw last week (before the kids and I re-arranged my room). Good thing I found the Prima supplies! ALL my fabric is in my storage unit, 10 miles away. Sigh...
Card stock and the majority of the patterned papers (except for the pink panel) are from Stampin' Up; plus one MME patterned paper piece (pink panel); flower, pearls and fabric heart and dot are from Prima; Corner flourish is Pink Paisley; Ranger Ink (lipstick pink - I attempted to add more pink).
Thanks for looking!
(edited... oops! I waited too darn long to link the card to the challenge! It is now closed! RATS! Oh well)
