That special place I go to when I need to create something fun, hide from something not fun, or just have 'me' time!

Sunday Words. November 24th 2013
I went out on a date this last Thursday night. And this man, who happens to be younger than me by 3 years (important later in this story) went out of his way to create a beautiful evening.
We drove out of town to the top of a scenic lookout, under the stars. And when I say out of town, I mean about 1.5 hours from where I live.
He parked, put on music, rolled down the windows, and we got out, for a slow dance.
And we danced under the stars, on one of the most beautiful, crystal clear, freezing ass cold nights of the year. It was in the teens.
He had to hold me close.
So when I saw the post below, that I am going to share with you, it made me smile.
Here is the post:
Dancing Under the Stars
After our dance, we drove to an 'all you can eat Seafood Buffet' which was really a crack up. It was at a Casino. Total Red Neck date. The hostess asked if either of us were 50 or older for the senior discount.
Yeah, I scored! And yes, I made a big deal out of it. Being a senior, with a younger man.
And we both got a chuckle out it.
My work mates are teasing me about being a Cougar, and of course, going on a date to an all you can eat buffet.
Life is in the details, my friends. In the details.
He also purchased a beautiful $30 dollar bottle of Red Zinfandel. I know this because I sent him to my favorite wine shop. And, he does not drink red wine. Since neither of us had a bottle opener, we had to open it red neck style - as in find any possible tool available, and push the cork into the bottle. Which, was enjoyed after dinner, with hand crafted chocolate truffles. And kisses.
Ah yes. The details.
