Happy Thursday!
Today mark's the 5th sketch challenge out of 7 for the Caardvark's Sketchfest, Sponsored by Studio Calico!!! Only two more to go, and they will be the hardest to get done.. since I 'work' on the weekends with the markets, and Saturday Night we have a big event to go to... Oh my!
I have to say, this has been an awesome event! I love love love Heidi Van Laar's Sketches! And, today's is certainly a favorite!
I turned the sketch, and started out making a pumpkin.. Well, as you can see, it morphed into a tree stump... Still gives the fall theme I so love, and perfect for a Thank You card:)
Here's the Recipe:
Stamps: Hero Arts Antique Brocade Cling Stamp (stamped in versamark onto the orange card stock), and Hero Arts Clear Design Month September (the Thanks sentiment)
Patterned paper: Cosmo Cricket Earth Love (Oh my! Love love love this stuff!). I cut the leaves out of one piece, the stump from another, and the background is also another sheet!
Button: Autumn Leaves
Linen Thread: Stampin' Up
Card Stocks: Stampin' Up and Archivers'
Inks: Versamark, Timber Brown Stazon
And that's a wrap!
Thanks so much for looking!!!!
And tell me, do you see a pumpkin????
That special place I go to when I need to create something fun, hide from something not fun, or just have 'me' time!

Great card, Andi. Like what it morphed into and the fall colors! I don't know how you do it...all! I still have yet to create a card today. Ya know...it was you that got me going again to submit to a challenge...with your cards earlier this week. So thanks!
Hope you have a great day!
BTW: no pear brandy here :-(. Waiting for the store to order or for a friend to send but I still want to try it! (And thanks for the story about all the old books in your closet...gives me some hope!)k
I didn't see a pumpkin at first glance, but I took a send look and I do now!
Pumpkin or tree stump, it's absolutely adorable! Great colors!

This is just a frothy cup of fall goodness! FANTASTIC! Andi, dang girl, you are so magical in this challenge (not that you're not magical without it, but I'm just impressed by the sheer numbers, not to mention, amazing cards you are pumping out!)! This is such a sweet card: I can't wait to scroll down your blog and see what else I've missed! Yipee!
This gave me a chuckle about the pumpkin... I had to look 2 times to see a pumpkin. I definitely saw the tree stump right away. It is like an intelligence test. What do you see? Love it! Very pretty and the PP is lovely. Like what you did on the stump to give it texture.
oh how cool! i love the way you've rotated the sketch! ♥
VERY creative. LOVE the pumpkin idea. I have to admit I had to take a second look too, but it was pretty obvious after I looked again! Gina
You are so creative Andi! I love that you are playing with these sketches!
Very nice Andi
