Favorite Photos! A Fall Family Photo Shoot

The Four of Us Standing - And Ernest
Ernest is older than my kids!
He was our first baby.

Us - Now That we are Older
I wanted our 'walking away' photo updated.
(There is a much older photo from when the kids were itty bitty, on the left sidebar, way down!)
I'm not sure this is the best one. The thumbnails are all small!

So last weekend, on a very very cold Sunday morning, my good friend W. came over and took our family photos.

I am sharing just a few here! Do you have a favorite that you would recommend we put on our Christmas Card?

This started as a 'we need a new family photo' - since our last one was from when the kids were itty bitty, and we have to update our posters and flyers and other things for our meat business. Our meat is now being served at a local University, and they need a poster to showcase us as their local source of grass fed beef!

I also need a new photo of all of us for this year's Christmas card, but most of the time my husband hides from our Christmas photo sessions - or he just takes pictures of the kids and me. Well, the 'we need to update the posters' got him. Now, we are all in the photo!

We took TONS and I can't wait to get them all ordered and put into frames and other projects for my Christmas gifts. I am so excited!

Thanks for looking!

Hi Andi!! You have such a beautiful family and its so great that you have family shots. We have yet to have any that are just the four of us. I just think the one of the kids throwing up the leaves is adorable! And for the whole family, the one on the fence would be great for a Christmas card! :>

These are so cute! Love the one of the fence too! I think that will be a great family photo for Christmas. So glad you updated the walking away picture. I love that picture on your blog.

I think the one of you all kneeling is better for the Christmas card and the one of you all on the fence is better for the business poster. They are all wonderful!

Oh Andi, you must be bursting with pride over these wonderful photos. First off you have such a handsome family. I also love the pic of your family walking away and think that was a brilliant choice to update it. I also think the one on the fence is better for business photos while the kneeling pic is better for family stuff. Secondly, what a majestic view. My dad always said you can tell God's land by the "Big Sky"!

Yep, chest puffed up brusting at the seams pride. Thank you so much for sharing that with me. Linda aka Oz

Tossing Leaves and On the Fence. Those are my favorites. You've done such a wonderful, creative job with the set up of this shoot, Andi. I'm not at all surprised of course. Everything you do is infused with creativity. As for a favorite for the photo, being the dog person I am, I would OF COURSE, have to include the one with Ernest out of much deserved respect. That's just what I'd do with my first baby... include him for posterity because he deserves that.

What absolutely lovely family photos, Andi! The "girls" one is beautiful. Of course, the "boys" don't look too shabby either!

I Love them ALL! You have such a beautiful family..yeahhhh that you made time to take your family photos!!! How breathtaking of a background you have for them!!! The funny thing is that's been the topic at our house lately too, but I've yet to convince my Mr. to do it?!?! :D Oh, well, maybe I"ll just have to blindsight him on the whole thing...thanks so much for sharing! Was it cold that day??? And, congratulations on your beef at the University..Whooohoooo...way to go! I miss getting to see you every other week in person...but, can I say I TOTALLY LOVED this weekend and NO Markets!!! Have a GREAT Sunday! Sweet blessings!

Hi Andi...Love all the photos and I adore the one walking away but I think on the Fence would be best for a Christmas card.....

Hey Andi: Love them all, especially the "walking away" photo...I think those are so cool and something that would be fun to continue to update. I really like the "fence" photo, but the one with Ernest is nice too. Or if you just want the kids for the Holidays, the one with them tossing leaves...what a great photo to receive during the winter months. Or...you could do one car with the "girls" on one side and the "boys" on the other side. So m many options, just one little card! Have fun deciding!!! Hugs, k

Cute photos Andi, how fun! I like the last one with all of you on the gate, it looks relaxed and happy for holiday cards, and for posters - it says 'ranch' loud and clear!

I'm on the fence about the pictures...ha ha, not really! I want the one on the fence! All the pics are really great, I love 'em. But my favorite is the one with you guys by the fence. Too cute, and it just fits you guys.

Nice to hear from you...you must be busy. It's still snowing and blowing and visibilty, which had cleared up, is low again. Just heard on WPR that no roads are closed...yet...but driving is recommended on a "need to get there' basis. So I hope your hubby stays warm and safe. I guess, though, that's he's used to this stuff. Sorry to hear about the water in the fuel...that's a BIG piece of change!!! Wowie! BTW: how did he know and how did it happen? Take care and hope you all have a great weekend and he's not stuck somewhere...if he does get stuck near us, send me an e-mail and he can come hang with us...if he's not too shy! hugs, k
