Caardvark's Sketchfest - Saturday

I got up later today... 4:30 am. Yes, it's another early morning card making 'fest'. No, this is not my 'bestest' work... but, alas, what is a girl to do? It's been a long long weekend....

So, no fabulous Grand Finale from this gal! And what's with that horrid freehand circle cut? Flaws always show up so much 'greater' when you photograph them:)

Sigh...

I left here at 7:30 am yesterday and did not get back until 10pm... It was a super long long day... especially after getting up at 3:30 am!!! But it was an awesome day.. A gorgeous fall Farmer's Market, followed by the fastest drive home, then back to La Grande, OR for a afternoon community meeting, with an awesome dinner featuring our meats, and a dance!

Did you hear that? Dance!!!!!! Live Band. So much fun...

Except my son would not dance with me... He's too cool now.

Everyone is sleeping in..

And to be honest, I'm looking forward to crawling back in bed!

Kudos to you, Andi dear! YOU CROSSED THE FINISH LINE! Sleep well, my friend! This card is LOVELY! (Just like you!) I'm sooooo blown away that you were able to complete every sketch and all the dedication you mustered to "the cause!" Impressive, that's all I'm sayin'!

I think its an adorable card! I might have to steal that sketch myself. I have a wonderful circle cutter, its a very old old design, can't remember the name of it, but it comes in a cute purple case. LOL. I met the creator, and he trained me on it! Fun.
Your cards are always so cute. It inspires me. Now that I am back in my "classroom" I can sneak into my scrap nook right next to it and PLAY! :)

Even with my circle cutter I get flaws.. Lovely card! Way to get up early and finish the challenge! I know how you feel we went out friday night and I was up late and then snuck out of bed to work on my challenge for friday sat AM! I think after you photo it sometimes you see things you didn't see when you make it..

You know it's interesting how perspective is. What caught my eye was the way the color worked together. I didn't notice anything else but what was being communicated artistically. After you pointed out the rest, okay, the perfectionist in me woke up and I understand. Kinda cool though that I didn't see that when I came to visit.

Andi: didn't even notice the hand-cut circle, and besides...it's those things that give a handmade card character! Have you ever looked closely at store bought cards...they all have their own little flaws. I love the colors and how the colors in your little button fit so with the leaves on your pp paper. Did you make the little button? Glad you were able to make all 7 cards...you constantly amaze and inspire me!!
Glad the FM day was gorgeous and a dinner that featured your meats! Awesome. Completely understand the..."I'm too old/cool" to be with mom..uh huh...completely understand! Hope you have a great week! k
