In Honor of several Hero Arts Artists and a Respectful Blogger... Anne Gaal

I am humbled by a fellow blogger whose attention to detail is absolutely amazing. Ann Gaal, of Gaal Creative is just amazing! She includes links to people, places, and things.. Meaning, when she makes a card, not only does she list a 'recipe' (how she made the card) but she also links up all the products as well as any artists who she got her inspiration from!

Thank you Anne, for taking the time to be so detailed. I know it must take lots of time to do this! And, it's all for your readers! I mean, if we like a certain product, all we have to do is click on the link! Ditto with techniques and other artists. You are so thoughtful, talented and sweet!

And, I find I must follow in Anne's steps and take the time to thank and honor several ladies that were featured last week at my favorite place to play.....

The RAK goodies I won off Sandy's Blog!

OK! Sandy had a contest on her blog... The '5' challenge...that she posted with a RAK after she reached 5,000 visitors. I shared the card sometime ago where we had to use 5 specific items and if we used them 5 times we got extra points. Here are the goodies Sandy sent me! I wasn't a 'true' winner... She's just a super nice person and sent all of us gifts! The loot in this photo consists of: a bookmark, a DVD with all of Sandy's photos from her Israel Trip, a tin to alter, and some images to use on my own cards! FUN STUFF!!!!! OK, there's story on how these beautiful cowboy Christmas images got into my hot little hands! I just happened to be checking out Ronnie's blog one day, and she posted a beautiful card with the image... I liked the image so much, that I left a comment asking if we could swap goodies... Ronnie is a Prima flower 'virgin' and I have tons of Primas! Well, my super good friend Dawn was working behind the scenes with Ronnie to get the images to me w/o me in the loop! Poor Ronnie.... There I was bugging her about trying to get the images, and she was doing her best not to spoil the surprise! Both girls sent them to me as a RAK after our sweet guard dogs died.... such angels... I am looking forward to turning the image into our Christmas Card! Thank goodness there is more than one - I am coloring challenged.... Thanks Girls!!!

Hello friends!
Today is Thursday, and I am 'hitting the road' until Sunday! Yep. Playtime for mommy... Yep. Scrap booking and stamps are involved... and a roomful of women and we are camping! I'll share everything when I get back...

Check this awesome card out! I rec'd it in the mail from Sandy (colourful - see her blog in my list!). She had a tutorial posted sometime ago on how to create one of these slider babies, and I commented about 'needing to see what I was doing'. Well! Looks like I can now 'see to believe'. How did she know I was one of those Missouri gals???

So, this morning I 'got' a brainstorm... Why not post cards or layouts that 'fit' with my written posts? I'm going to give it a try.. this 'might' slow my posting schedule. It is so much easier for me to just 'sit and write' versus sitting and creating in my crafty place! But, I'll give it a try...
