Cold: 7 degrees in the am. Now? Snowing gently. I love it when it snows when I am home and don't have to worry about the drive. My favorite type of snow. Happy happy snow.
Guest: At 6:30 am. I returned borrowed items to my FM. So very hard to say goodbye when you are attached, yet the other isn't. We both cried, but I am sure, for different reasons. Me, for him; He for the son that doesn't want to have anything to do with him. It was nice to hug goodbye on a good note. I mean, to be able to hug, however sad the circumstance. Sigh. And, I knew he was coming, so I made darn sure I was showered, dressed and looking hot. What better way to say goodbye?
Work: High five! One of the three grants due on Nov. 22nd that I authored got a 'hit' today. The state called wanting some info. Woo Hoo! This was a $100,000 call. Fingers crossed!
Home: Not until 7pm. Even though I got off at five. Had to drive over the mountain, to the ranch, to my house to Baker and again to my house, all the time while it is snowing and people are driving stinking slow. And yes I passed a few. Sami is now tucked safe and sound at a 16 year old -bday party sleepover; and Jake is tucked safe and sound in his man cave. I take that back, he is now in front of the TV watching Johnny Test. Cute.
And... I am so ready for bed! Gonna go crawl under my nice cozy electric blankie and quilts.
