Scrap Girls - Digi Layout Contest - What Makes Me Happy

Digital Layout

 The journaling reads:

What makes me happy?  Pumpkin Lattes,  from October thru December.  My 12-year old daughter making scones - just because she wants to.  My 11 year-old son wanting to ride his bike to the neighbors and back all by himself (2 miles round trip - we live in the country).  my favorite birch tree turning colors. Mad Men on Sunday nights!  Soccer games and jerseys that have ‘Corona’ on the back - because our team is mostly hispanic,  even if it’s a youth team and not PC! Learning new things.  The hope to be something better!

Supplies:
Cathy Zielske Layered Template #37 (I changed it a lot!)
Katie Pertiet Collection Manuscrite

So there's this super duper awesome challenge going on right now at SrapGirls!  They are a digital scrapbooking community whose newsletter visits my e-mailbox almost daily.  And, today, in my little einbox was the announcement that a challenge was going on - with ipod shuffle prizes!
Yep.  Ipod.

I'm not much of a digital scrapbooker.  But, I am trying!

Go play, too!

Ya know, for a gal who says she doesn't do digi all that often, this came out Fantastic!! I jumped back and then forward again, peered closer to my monitor to take it all in...really fantastic!! Its been a long time since I scrapped and I'm missing it. But, I've been toying with the idea of going somewhat digi, or at least hybrid. I love the tactile of paper, trimmers, glue & most importantly, ink...but, there's a part of me that wants to simplify a bit. I have soooo much in supplies with though (and not willing to part with them...love 'em way too much!) and want to use them. Anyhow...I'm rattling, point is I feel a change in how I scrap coming on. Wonder what form it will eventually end up taking. :> Another great share, Andi! :>

Cute layout!

I've done a almost no digi layouts over the years - maybe 4 or 5. I'm just not into them... I too like to touch and play with paper and glue. I also like to hold printed photos in my hands. Plus, I'm on the computer so much for work and for fun, that I think I'd go crazy if i spent anymore time on it. But I have to say... the idea of digi sure is appealing....

I love your digi layout. I think if I ever get back to scrapping, I'll go digi, too. You did a beautiful job on this Andi. Love the list, too.
